she is 5 yrs old, greyhound/shepherd mix. We went from Michigan to Missouri to bring
her home. My Father in Law had got her as a pet with a g/f of his, when the relationship
ended, so did the desire to have the dog. When I had first seen Emma, I had mentioned,
If you ever get rid of her, let me know. My husband did'nt forget those words, so when
the time came, we were on our way to MO to bring her home. She was very wild because
she was either in a cage inside the home or on a chain outside. She would leap in the air, as
high as your head. She was like this wild kangaroo or something, and her claws were long,
so she literally would mess you up. I called her scissorhands, lol. So, when Brian told me
we were getting her, I was'nt too sure, because she was so out of control. If it came to her
going back to the pound, where she originally came from, I would take her. No animal deserves
to be put in the 7 day death row cages. I worked for a animal control once. Never again!
So, that was a long story, lol. Anyways, today Emma is one of the best, sweetest, well minded
dogs ever. She's been a blessing to us.

Then we have our baby brat Nahla. My ex neighbor brought her home as a puppy. The
neighbor worked alot of hours, and had her social life. Nahla was basically like a child on
her own. I could not pass by the fence without petting her. She needed attention so bad.
Well, the neighbor offered her to me, we were just doing bad financially, and should'nt
of taken on more responsibility, and my husband made that decision, and he was right.
When it stormed we would bring her inside our house, out of the weather. There was a
tornado watch we took her across the street to my Moms basement. We were getting
attached. Well, Nahla started breaking loose(digging out) and would run straight to our
house, I would hear a scratching at the front door, and it was always her. Well, that just
melted my heart. Then the neighbor decided she was gonna have to take her to the pound,
for Nahlas sake. Well, I told my husband I was going to hang out with her for the night, before
she was taken to the pound the next morning. He said bring her home. She's been with us\
ever since. She does'nt try to get away, lol. Her and Emma just love each other so much!
They kiss, and share, and play and fight, everything sisters do. Nahla is so special, she cannot
give you enough kisses. She howls/talks to you. She is just such a sweetheart and brat mixed
in one. She's the baby of the family, and knows how to get what she wants, lol.

Thansk so much for sharing them with us!
