All here will share your "Canine Concerns", whether illness, behavioral, grief, etc. Please remember.. we are not here to discuss breeding. Period. If you have a pregnant or nursing female via the rescue of one or some other avenue besides breeding, discussion here will hopefully help you guard the safety of mom and babies, including at what age you can spay/neuter the puppies and how long after the mom can be s/n. I've come across a couple of the Shiba Inus in rescue; I personally don't know anyone who actually has one. They are a sturdy, beautiful little dog.
